'I approached Gary Wood earlier this year as I wanted to produce a series of items for the kitchen and dining room. I chose to learn from Gary because, having looked at his work, I immediately felt it was of the sort of style and quality that I would like to produce. After showing him my ideas, Gary was enthusiastic about my plans and helped to flesh them out, adding some touches of his own. Gary is an extremely patient and knowledgeable teacher and allowed me the freedom to try out techniques and experiment, while at the same time helping me to produce a number of great finished articles. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who has an ambition to produce an original piece of work.' Adrian Holmes
